An average lesson looks something like this: Actual flight training time in the air about an hour and a half Ground instruction time of usually half an hour The total average lesson winds up being about 2 hours 2 hours x $45 = $90 instruction time 1.5 hours x $96 = $141 Aircraft rental Total cost per lesson is approximately $231 These times are average and can vary (more and less); as some lessons need to be shorter, and others longer. |
